In 1997, the body of an LSU student was found two months after she had disappeared, she had suffered from severe head trauma, however the case generated few leads and went cold. Since then, in 6 years, over sixty women met the same fate. Was this the work of one serial killer? Or had the bayou become a common dumping ground for murder victim’s bodies? How many more bodies had yet to be discovered in the muddy waters? These questions and nothing more than a two decades old case brought Detective Rodie Sanchez out of retirement to revisit the case once more in the hope that he might be able to finally solve it and put his mind at ease.
