Steven Page is accustomed to the spotlight from being in Grammy-nominated band Barenaked Ladies, but now he's heading to less-glamorous places in this food-centric series. The singer-songwriter seeks out some of the tastiest, most creative -- and illegal -- foods in North American cities. Illegal? This is food served in unlicensed locations -- sometimes run by world-renowned chefs -- that skirt local zoning and health laws. In each episode, Page goes to two cities to experience dishes at secret locations, and his itinerary takes him from big towns, like New York and Toronto, to smaller ones, like Asheville, N.C., and Charleston, S.C.
