Barbara (Wolfe) is an outsider at her school, a girl who wears bunny ears on her head and doesn’t have any friends. It’s worth it to her, though, because she moonlights as a killer of giants, huge monsters that threaten her town and everyone she cares about. It does bother her, however, that no one believes her, and her older sister thinks that it’s all just an imaginative game. When she finally starts to make a friend, she tries to convince her to help with her giant killing, but the job isn’t only thankless -- it’s also very dangerous.
