High school outsider and antique shop employee Bird Fitcher (Prescott) finds a cool old Polaroid camera among some items that are brought into the store, and eagerly starts playing around with the aging piece of technology. When her friends start dying after she’s snapped a picture of them, she begins to suspect that the camera carries a terrible curse. The suspicion grows stronger when she notices a shadowy figure moving between the photographs. Without adults willing to believe her, and with several photographs waiting to claim their victims, Bird and her friends are set upon by a sinister force.
