2015 Thriller

While getting ready for a blind date, surgical nurse Miranda Wells (Pike) hears someone outside on her porch. Assuming the man she finds there is her date, she lets him in. After brutally assaulting her, the man, William (Fernandez) flees, but is soon picked up by the police and arrested. In an attempt to move on from the attack and return to her former self, Miranda begins to write to William in prison, which leads to regular visits as the two become friendly.
