Presented by Dr Suzannah Lipscomb and Dan Jones, this three-part docudrama series starring former supermodel Lily Cole centres around the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth I and her many enemies. Lily Cole takes on the daunting role of Elizabeth I from when she was 20 and narrowly avoided execution by her half-sister Mary I to when she was 53 and ordered the death of her cousin Mary, Queen of Scots. Combining drama and commentary, this miniseries shows a whole other side to Queen Elizabeth I and her reign.
