After losing his job as an insurance salesman, suburban father Bill Scanlon (Bentley) soon grows desperate. He does whatever he can to make ends meet, but still risks losing his home when he’s unable to make the mortgage payments. With no other means to support his family, Bill casts aside his morals and turns to a life of crime, determined, above all else, to look after the people he loves.
