With only three days to go until the end of his probation, convicted felon Collin (Diggs) has put his criminal past behind him, holds down a steady job and is determined to avoid being close to even a hint of illegal behaviour that could send him back to jail. This is easier said then done, however, with his lifelong friend Miles (Casal) acquiring guns and getting into fights, and when Collin witnesses a cop gun down an unarmed black man, the incident sets him on a collision course with his best friend.
