Bride of Frankenstein

Manipulated by his former mentor, Dr. Pretorius (Ernest Thesiger), a reluctant Henry Frankenstein (Colin Clive) creates a female companion for his lonely monster (Boris Karloff). As the monster continues to flee from angry villagers, Pretorius kidnaps Henry’s wife, Elizabeth (Valerie Hobson), in order to force him to complete work on the mate (Elsa Lanchester) for the monster. But when she rejects him, the monster destroys the lab and his supposed bride.
