The Heffley family decide to go on a road trip to attend their grandma’s 90th birthday party. Young Greg (Drucker) doesn’t want to go, until he realizes that a huge gaming convention isn’t that far from their destination. He hatches a plan to get the family to the convention, which throws the entire trip hilariously off course. Greg leads the family into disaster after disaster, nearly destroying their RV in the process, and as everything seems to go wrong, the Heffley family must pull together to get to the party.
