Raised from a calf by a young girl, Ferdinand (Cena) is a massive bull whose physical size is rivaled only by the size of his heart. When the bovine is stung by a bee while in town, the locals mistake his roars of pain for ones of rage, and he’s quickly captured and shipped off to compete in the bull fighting ring. For the gentle giant, though, fighting just isn’t in his nature, and with the help of some other animals, he begins plotting an escape so that he can get back to his old life.
