John Henry Clayton (Kiefer Sutherland) has made a name for himself as a ruthless gunslinger. When he decides to retire in order to find peace, he heads back to his hometown in Wyoming, hoping to mend his relationship with his estranged father (Donald Sutherland). Upon his return, he finds chaos brewing as a gang of criminals is trying to force the town's landowners to sell their land to the railroad. Now, John Henry must make a tough choice: put a stop to the madness at the risk of further alienating his father, or turn a blind eye.
