New York singer Vivienne (Parker) has been reflecting on her life and career, but everything about her past and future is put into a completely different perspective when she receives a grim diagnosis. As she comes face to face with her own mortality, Vivienne reaches out to her friends and family, coming to realize that she needs to start living in the here and now rather than dwelling on unfulfilled dreams and past slights, and that putting her career ahead of her family has put her life in a position where happiness has never been a priority.
