When Cam Stuart (Ruffalo) has a manic breakdown and ends up in a mental hospital, his wife Maggie (Saldana) and their two little girls are forced to move out of their house in the country and into a cramped apartment. Broke, stressed and having no luck finding a job, Maggie applies to business school and is accepted into Columbia’s MBA program. Determined to build a better life for their kids, Maggie asks Cam to become the primary caregiver while she temporarily relocates from Boston to New York to complete her degree. Cam is happy to comply, but quickly finds himself in over his head.
