Money Monster

Lee Gates (Clooney) is a financial wiz who hosts a TV show called "Money Monster." When a desperate man (O'Connell) takes the show hostage while it's live on the air, Gates and his producer, Patty Fenn (Roberts), fear for their lives, but soon begin to suspect that there is more to the man's story than even he realizes. As they dig deeper, they uncover a web of lies and fraud perpetrated by an elite few who seem to be untouchable. As the situation escalates, Gates and Fenn find themselves under siege on all fronts, and strangely invested in the wellbeing of the man who holds their lives in his hands.
