Jack (Wilson) and Annie Dwyer (Bell) are living a happy life in their native United States, but decide to make a change and move their young family overseas to Southeast Asia. They quickly regret their decision when a violent revolution breaks out and the Dwyers find themselves caught up in the midst of the carnage, with their fellow foreigners being locked up and executed. The family flees for their lives as the brutal leader of the rebels hunts them down.
