When Kaylie (Gillan) and Tim (Thwaites) were teenagers, their parents were brutally killed and Tim was convicted of the murders. Ten years later, having served his time in protective custody, Tim wants to leave the past behind him and move on with his life. Kaylie, however, is convinced that what really killed her parents is an antique mirror harbouring an evil supernatural force. Determined to exonerate her brother, Kaylie tracks down the mirror, but she and Tim soon find themselves plagued by terrifying hallucinations as their childhood nightmare takes hold of them once again.
