Anne (Lane) is married to a successful movie producer, who often is inattentive, spending more time at work than with her. She finds herself getting bored with life. On a trip with her husband and his business partner, Jacques (Viard), an unexpected complication forces her to drive to Paris with Jacques, while her husband heads home. When Jacques makes detours and turns the trip into a two-day, carefree adventure, the diversions reawaken a lust for life in Anne.
