Father, author, and relationship expert Matthew Taylor (Moore) is on a whirlwind tour after the dazzling success of his new book, "The Bounce Back." Feeling like he knows everything there is to know about relationships and love, he is shaken after meeting the sharp and witty Kristin Peralta (Velazquez), who confronts him on one of his shows. The tension between the two is evident, and they are asked to continue the tour together. Despite their conflicts, Matthew is forced to deal with his own past when he finds himself falling for her.
