Mae Holland (Watson) leaves a job she hates for an opportunity to work at the world’s most powerful technology and social media company. As the company helps her family -- especially her sick father -- she learns more and more about the founder, Bailey (Hanks), and the company’s inner circle. Encouraged by Bailey, she joins a ground-breaking experiment, known as The Circle, which pushes the boundaries of privacy, ethics and personal freedom. As the experiment proceeds, she begins to realize that her decisions are affecting future of her friends, family and humanity.
