The Gift

2015 Thriller

Shortly after buying a new home, young couple Simon (Bateman) and Robyn (Hall) run into Gordo (Edgerton), an old high school classmate of Simon’s, whom he doesn’t immediately recognize. After an expensive bottle of wine is delivered to their house from Gordo, the couple invite him to dinner, which leads to a series of uninvited visits that often occur when Robyn is at home by herself. As mysterious gifts begin to appear at the house, a horrifying secret comes to light after more than 20 years, and Robyn soon learns what really happened between Simon and Gordo back in high school.
