Thomas Webb (Turner) has just graduated from college, and is starting to make his own way in the world by getting his own apartment, away from his wealthy publisher father (Brosnan). While out for a fun night, he spots his father having a romantic evening with a younger woman (Beckinsale), who is most definitely not Thomas’s mother. He becomes determined to break up the relationship between the two, and confronts his father’s mistress, only to find himself seduced by her as well, putting him on a collision course with both his father and the truth about his family.
