In this continuing film adaptation of the television series, former teenage private eye Veronica Mars (Bell) gets pulled back to her hometown of Neptune, Calif. just in time for her 10-year high school reunion. Now living in New York City, Veronica is contacted by her ex-boyfriend Logan (Dohring), who has been accused of murder. Knowing he's innocent, Veronica travels to Neptune to help Logan find a lawyer, but when something doesn’t seem right about the case, she finds herself drawn back into the sleuthing life she thought she left behind.
