Quirky psychiatrist Hector (Pegg) has become increasingly dissatisfied with his mundane, routine driven life. Trying to advise his patients makes him feel like a hypocrite, having relatively little experience in life and the world at large, and he doesn’t seem to be helping them get any happier. Longing for that pure, real happiness that only children seem to be able to achieve, Hector decides to break out of the rut of his sheltered, safe existence and ventures out on a global quest in search of the secret to true happiness.
