With the world still reeling from the death of Superman (Cavill), incidences of violent crime and war are on the rise, but an even greater threat looms on the horizon. When extraterrestrial monsters led by Steppenwolf (Hinds) begin an invasion of Earth, Batman (Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gadot) convince Atlantean Aquaman (Momoa), super-quick forensic investigator The Flash (Miller) and human/machine hybrid Cyborg (Fisher) to join forces with them to present a united front against the invaders. Without Superman to lead them, however, the new league of superheroes may not be enough to stop the alien threat.
