All-out war between humans and super-intelligent apes finally breaks out in this third chapter. When a brutal human colonel (Harrelson) leads an army against the ape civilization -- led by the intelligent chimpanzee, Caesar (Serkis) -- the apes suffer losses unlike anything they’ve ever experienced. Now out to avenge the travesties inflicted upon his people by the humans, Caesar struggles with his darkest instincts as fate draws him towards the colonel, leading to an epic conflict that will determine not only the fate of their two species, but also of the entire world.
