Simulcast live on TNT and TBS from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the Screen Actors Guild Awards annually celebrates outstanding performances in motion pictures and prime-time television from the previous calendar year. Hosted by Megan Mullally, the ceremony includes the distinctive ensemble awards, which honor the collaborative performance by a cast in a motion picture and by the ensemble casts of both comedy and dramatic TV series. And among the evening's highlights is the presentation of the SAG Life Achievement Award for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment. This year's recipient is actor, writer, director and producer Alan Alda.
