On the islands of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, one in three of the population bears a Basque surname. After originally coming to hunt whales, fishermen from San Sebastian settled here permanently. Centuries later and over 6,000 kilometres from their homeland, we discover how their descendents continue to preserve their identity.
