British film star Amanda Delany seemingly has it all - she's young, she's talented and she has had a string of affairs with the hottest actors around. She can't get enough of the spotlight. That all changes one morning when the press gathers outside her house not to report on her latest role but to report on her murder. Among the detectives investigating the crime is DI Anna Travis, who is shocked by what she finds - Delany's public persona was a sham and she was really lonely, damaged and afraid. While working with the team tracking down Delany's killer, Travis must overcome some challenges of her own.
