History
Exhibiting bravery, solidarity and unyielding determination to come out on top in life-or-death situations is why military troops are often called a "band of brothers." The battlefield qualities that define them are showcased in "Against the Odds," which tells stories of U.S. soldiers displaying great heroism and strength in the face of seemingly insurmountable adversity. Episodes pull together archival footage and present-day interviews with veterans to re-create pivotal wartime moments, from the battles of Okinawa and the Bulge in World War II to the Battle of Ramadi in the Iraq War. Actor Rob Lowe narrates the six-part series.
