This crime drama is based on the successful novel series by M. C. Beaton. The story focuses on the life of PR expert Agatha Raisin, who gives up a successful career in London to start a new peaceful life in the picturesque Cotswolds. Adjusting to life in the quiet countryside doesn't come easy, however, as her fast-paced city demeanor becomes a source of gossip amongst the village locals. In her attempts to fit into the community she enters the annual quiche-making competition, but indirectly becomes implicated in a murder case when someone is killed at the same event. Determined to redeem her now-tarnished reputation, she takes it upon herself to uncover the truth behind the quiche of death.
