Alan Carr talks about childhood and adolescence in his trademark frank and hilarious style. Being born into a family that focused heavily upon sport, growing up was tough for Alan. His father was the manager of Northampton Town football club and passionately wanted him to become a professional footballer. Alan had very different aspirations however, none of which included sporting achievement.
