Comedian Alan Carr embarks on a journey across the UK in search of the places which inspired beloved British crime-writer Agatha Christie. Alan developed his own love of Christie's novels when he was growing up in Northampton in the 1980s, escaping into the genteel world of super-sleuths Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. Alan visits Burgh Island in South Devon, Agatha Christie's holiday home Greenway House, and he also goes backstage at long-running play `The Mousetrap' in London's West End.
