Scottish-born actor Alan Cumming explores the picturesque Outer Hebrides of Scotland, touring the Western Isles from Barra to Stornoway on Lewis, Eriskay and the Callanish stones. He meets native islanders and discovers remote communities along the way, learning about their lives on the outskirts of Scotland. On his journey he visits a standing stone circle older than Stonehenge and uncovers its ancient history, plays a game of football on a world famous pitch, and learns the real story behind `Whisky Galore'.
