Fine dining and popular eateries depend on their head chefs to control the kitchen and produce food to high standards, which is why filling the position can be a difficult task. Undertaking the search is Polizzi, who sources nine candidates to participate in a gruelling interview process, taking place over four nights. The contenders, whose cooking skills impress the most, go through to the final stages where one person is selected to become a head chef at the establishment.
