Hotelier Alex Polizzi, whose full name is Alessandra Maria Luigia Polizzi, returns to Italy, following the series `Alex Polizzi's Secret Italy', to discover more about her heritage. Over the episodes the presenter travels to Sardinia, Capri, Ischia, Sicily and the Aeolian Islands. At each stop Polizzi meets with the locals, learns stories of the past and joins in with festive celebrations. Furthermore the host indulges in the traditional cuisine, culture and beautiful scenery that surrounds this part of the world.
