The story of Sarah Palin's rise from rural roots to become Alaska's first female and youngest governor, and then the first woman to run on the Republican Party's presidential ticket, would fit with the theme presented on "Amazing America." The series, hosted by Palin herself, tells stories that explore uncommon, interesting, and oftentimes inspiring people -- as well as places and pastimes -- connected to the country's "red, wild and blue" outdoor lifestyle. Whether it's celebrating everyday folks, business leaders or celebrities, Palin takes viewers coast to coast to find who -- and what -- makes America amazing. Field hosts and segment contributors include outdoorsman Benny Spies, comic-actor Mark Christopher Lawrence, and North Carolina farmer-turned-comic Jerry Carroll.
