When Conan Doyle's wife passes, his world is filled with grief and mourning. Distracted by the news of the Great Wyrley Rippings, Conan Doyle decides he wants to meet the solicitor, George Edalji, who stands accused of mutilating animals and sending death threats. Having served seven years in Pentonville Prison, George is released only to find that his career has been ruined beyond repair - that is, until he meets Conan Doyle.
