His travels take him to many places, including The Partisan in Washington, D.C., where bacon gets raised to a form of art with the braised pork belly over pickled cabbage; the Overtime Bacon Bar in Illinois, where the bacon-stuffed burger has an enticing combination of cheese and bacon that is placed directly into the beef; and Virginia's Bayou Bakery, where bacon and caramel are blended into a snack called porkorn. It doesn't end there, though, as he visits Paddy Long's Beer and Bacon Pub in Chicago, where he tries a mouth-watering bacon s'more.
