Filmed on location at the stately Welbeck Abbey in Nottinghamshire, this baking and pastry competition aims to discover the most talented and skilled pâtissiers in the entirety of the United Kingdom. There is no room for amateurs as only professional pastry chefs from a wide variety of different industries will compete, from high-end hotels and restaurants to corporate and retail kitchen environments. The teams are given two challenges, one to create miniatures and the other a showpiece, in which they demonstrate their technical and creative talents, which will be judged by two of the best pâtissiers in the UK. They will judge the creations for their visual impact, flavour and texture, and for consistency under pressure.
