Paddy McGuinness presents a game show where contestants can win thousands of pounds. Helping the players increase the prize fund are ten members of the British public, known in the show as the Benchmarkers. The Benchmarkers answer a series of numerical questions, and their responses set the benchmark for the contenders, who must decide whether these are correct answers or whether to go higher or lower. The highest-scoring Benchmarker also gets the chance to return to the show as a contestant to win a cash prize.
