`Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands' features Kieran Bew as eponymous hero Beowulf, Ed Speleers as Slean and Laura Donnelly in the role of Elvina. The fantasy-drama is set in the fictional Shieldlands, where humans and creatures live a life of danger, excitement and adventure. With themes of power, revenge, greed, courage and love, the heroes and villains struggle with their inner conflicts as well as their place within the wider community. The all-star cast includes Joanne Whalley, William Hurt, David Harewood, Joe Sims and Lolita Chakrabarti.
