Across the country, monkeys are playing, lions are lounging, and penguins are swimming. It will soon be feeding time, cages require cleaning, and animals need to be groomed but the work does not end there. In a celebration of the conservation work that goes on throughout the United Kingdom, Helen Skelton and Nick Baker are at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, near Doncaster, to give a unique insight into the workings of a zoo and celebrity guests will explore all the key species that are cared for. Behind the cages, rangers and keepers are working diligently to care for a whole host of animals.
