Andre ‘Dre’ Johnson is on track to a successful life and career as he secures one promotion after another and looks forward to becoming the first African American senior vice president at the agency where he works but he finds his family falling into an identity crisis as they live and grow in a predominantly white, upper-middle class neighbourhood and decides he needs to take steps to bring the kids closer to their ethnic identity and learn to take pride in it.
