The feature-length adventure sees Bob and his friends head out to the wild west, where they meet a friendly cowgirl named Rio and her horse, Jackaroo, in Cactus Creek. It's an old prospector town founded by Rio's great-great-granddaddy that's been abandoned since the gold ran out. Rio has her heart set on fixing up Cactus Creek, and when she's not strumming her guitar and leading a singsong, the gang get down to the construction business. They also chase a rumour of a stash of gold hidden near town. Is it another one of Rio's tall tales, or does a mine shaft in a broken-down barn hold the secret?
