Hanada Suzuko (Shuri) is a young woman who loves singing and dancing. She graduates from elementary school and joins an opera troupe. She rapidly progresses and shows exceptional singing talent. After moving to Tokyo, her fate dramatically changes with an encounter with a renowned composer Hatori Zenichi (Kusanagi Tsuyoshi) just as Japan becomes embroiled in war. Despite facing many challenges, she ascends to stardom as the Queen of Boogie.
