In preparation for HS2, anthropologist Professor Alice Roberts and historian Dr Yasmin Khan dig deep at four massive excavations to uncover fascinating burials, revealing the stories of people from the Stone Age right up to the 20th century. They use their respective skills to to tell the forgotten stories of those who lived and were buried on the route, from painters and London prizefighters to medieval peasants and lords.
