Adventurer Charley Boorman hits the road on a motorbike as he takes a 6,200-mile journey through South Africa. Teaming up with producer Russ Malkin, Boorman begins his journey around the continent's southernmost coastline before heading across the South African frontier - in Mozambique, Botswana and Namibia - and heading down the West coast to complete his circuit of the South African border and he, naturally, has many adventures along the way - including learning to live off the parched land of the remote Kalahari desert and navigating the nearly impassable roads to reach the icy peaks of Sani Pass.
