Historian and Monty Python alumn Terry Jones examines the life of historical author Geoffrey Chaucer, writer of the `Canterbury Tales'. Following him from his childhood in 14th century England, Terry explores how Chaucer witnessed the Black Plague wipe out a third of Europe's population when he was just a boy, and later became a secret agent during the 100 Years War.
