A sequel to Paul Greengrass' 1999 TV movie `The Murder of Stephen Lawrence', Doreen and Neville Lawrence's struggle for justice continues after the murder of their son Stephen at the hands of a racist gang in 1993. Beginning in 2006, the family work closely together with DCI Clive Driscoll to put together an investigation that finally secures the convictions of two of the gang who committed his murder, more than 18 years after his death, which in turn heralded sweeping changes in the law and police practices.
